Skyline # 8 “A Spalted City”

# 8 was made of spalted maple for the buildings, fashioned in puzzled fashion to form the Chicago skyline.  then for the beachline, padauk was used to fill in the beautiful orange beach line the padauk’s natural orange color is perfect for the beachline.   and for the lake chopped. American walnut. chopped to pieces and scattered over this piece.  in the clouds you will see wenge sawdust with curved tile clouds in the sky.  total time on this project took over 20 hours.
